We really enjoy the way Christine writes. This particular piece is very illuminating and, I think, spot on.Anyone who has read Dobson’s description of beating his small family dog into “submission” with a belt(?) is only too well aware that the man “has issues”. Creepy issues. And Christine has detailed how his (sociopath) mindset appeals to — and buttresses the views — of like minded individuals. Some take it out on their own children, others take it out on the (gay) children of others via school boards, the media or Congress.
It is just one more indication that these are really not “christians” but people with major control and insecurity issues who seek to use religion as a cover for their own vices.
The only thing which seems encouraging at this point is that the more and louder they all scream at the rest of society, the more determined people are becoming to say NO right back at them.
I’d be happy so see the pols they support voted out of office. Backlash, anyone?
