Speaking for Exodus on Oct. 1, exgay activist Nancy Brown collects unrelated factoids from the ideologically antiliberal publication Human Events and assembles an illogical case:
That sex education promotes depression, confusion, anger, homosexuality, pregnancy, and pornography.
Brown draws no logical relation between the assorted factoids and sex education.
Her source, Human Events, is home to decidedly unscholarly and ideological individuals like Ann Coulter, Robert Novak, and Judith Reisman. And like these pundits, who rarely strive to light a candle in the darkness that they complain about, Brown offers no recommendations to reform sex education. The reader is left to assume that she and Exodus oppose sex education of any kind.
