After a hiatus of a few months, I am back on the Ex-Gay Watch team, and looking forward to bringing you a UK perspective on the ex-gay movement.
I am a British-Canadian with roots in Vancouver and Liverpool, where I now live and work freelance in various writing, web and arts-related projects. After being “born again” in my teens, I studied at a Pentecostal Bible College and spent a couple years in my native British Columbia as an associate pastor. During that time, I tore myself gradually away from my fundamentalist past. Although I had always known I was gay, truly accepting my sexuality was the end of a lengthy and painful process of leaving fundamentalism. I am now openly gay, and happily settled in my local Church of England parish.
I am an INFP who enjoys occasional sojourns into ENFP. I love Hammer horror, linguistics and chicken korma.
Hi, Dave,
For what it’s worth, I’m a recovering INFJ who aspires to grow into my new identity as an ESTP. 🙂
I like Ethiopian vegetarian dishes, Cincinnati five-way chili, Mongolian barbecue, and the Nutrisystem men’s program to counteract all of the above.
Good grief! I don’t have time to welcome you appropriately, Dave!!!
I like food.
I’m an INFP.
love,
pam
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaave! Yo, my brotha.
It’s times like these that Pond is so small.
‘Scuse me people, for my ig’nance…but what’s a INFJ
Or in Pam’s (Willful Grace) INFP.
Whatever it is, is it fun?
Regan, it is the Meyers-Briggs personality test. Dave, Pam and I are all INFPs–Introvert, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceivers.
Oh, and INFP is the best possible profile to have. Ask anyone of us and we will tell you so.
Dave, great to see you back in action.
Wow, I’m an INFP too. Maybe INFPs like to blog?
It’s only 4 percent of the population (supposedly)…I wonder what others around here test as?
Hmm, I’m an ISTP – Introverted Sensing Thinking Perceiving. So what does all this get us 🙂
I’m sure there is something in the ISTP explanation that says we don’t trust psychological tests, lol.
That introspecitve and perceiving people write blogs? haha. I have no idea. But the friends I know who are the opposite myers briggs don’t have blogs…
Hmmmm…. I am an ESTJ. I think about starting a blog constantly, but never do. Maybe this explains it?!
I LOVE this myers-briggs stuff….
peterson…you’re so baaadddd! 😉
rick…i think it’s mostly the “E” that keeps you from it…tdub and i were the same except for the “E” and he was just like you in that he thought about blogging all the time but never did….blogging is by and large the world of the introvert…
i’m also like peterson (and i’m pretty sure christine) in that while i’m an “I” i have many “E” tendencies and can fake a good “E” for long periods of time….
christine….i thought we were “one-percenters”….not even four percent…albert schweitzer, mia farrow, richard gere, princess diana, and audrey hepburn are some famous infps.
ok…enough…i could talk about this stuff all day!
Oh..alrighty then!
I’m EXTROVERTED….! Oh YEAH!
Ask Peterson…hee hee!
Christine, girlfriend…you’ll see.
I be like… look OUT…big mouthed black woman here!
‘Hurricane in earrings’, is another description someone gave me.
But, I”m fulla hugs, and love…this is really how I really try to win friends and influence people!
Well, it’s really the chocolate chip banana bread I make that does it.
