OK, this is a fluff piece. But it’s a sunny Friday and there’s not much ex-gay news going on, so this is for those who continue to use “it’s unnatural” as their argument:
Pink news is reporting that a park in Sweden has a pair of male ducks. For the third year the shelducks, who mate for life, have returned to the park.
Lennarth Blomquist, bird manager at the park, told the TT news agency, “We can state that they act exactly like a couple (composed) of a man and woman, the bigger one always defending the smaller duck.

We have confirmed that neither of the Swedish ducks is Queer Duck. Jim J. Bullock was not available for comment.
In an unrelated story Stephen Bennett today announced a boycott of all duck products.

Is it odd that this really made me smile. How cute is it that the big one always defends the small one?
If it walks like a gay duck, and quacks like a gay duck…
The larger one was abused as a duckling and did not have a father figure in his life. After leaving home, he wandered from pond to lake while mating with various random ducks until he met the smaller one. This duck had always been the runt of the pack and eventually sexualized his admiration of the big, muscular ducks. When he met the bigger one, the physically challenged avian recognized what he wanted to be and resolved to stay with his new mate. The larger duck’s emotional needs are met in the relationship, as his protective nature allows him to feel connected to the smaller duck.
Unfortunately, we all know that these same-sex relations are just shallow imitations of opposite-sex ones. Pretty soon they will be pond-hopping and inviting third ducks over for the night. Then the narcotic frond life will catch up to them, and one will contract DIV. A terrible shame…
(Okay, I had an interesting day, so this is my facetious/sarcastic rant to blow off steam.)
I wonder if there are any avian veterinarians who are familiar with how to administer reparative therapy? Remember, first the ducks need to be made to realize that they have a problem, then they need to admit it and have a desire to change… hehehe
