How about type face in a readable size? The one on current offer is difficult for my old eyes, admittedly far sighted, to focus on. A little bit bigger would help.

I thought your new design was great. The typface was clearer. I noticed on thing missing though — an ability to pull up archives by month, although since you have everything categorized by subject, I’m not sure having the monthly archive links is all that necessary.
How about a big flaming rainbow colored asteroid graphic in the top right corner? 😛
