Focus on the Family bases its campaign against Alfred Kinsey upon a foundation of hearsay.
It may be refreshing, then, listen to NPR’s Fresh Air, hosted by Terry Gross, and hear the film director of Kinsey base his movie on something called research.
If you don’t do the Internet radio thing, then Tim Hulsey provides a film review; Wayne Dynes provides intellectual and historical analysis.
Wow, Focus basing a “morals” campaign on something other than facts?
What a concept. 😐
Film is well worth seeing, fine performances and fine direction. I will be looking forward to other movies by this director Condon (also directed Gods and Monsters, starring Ian McKellan, who had a role worthier of his talents than standing around in a silly getup with pointy hat).
