If/when Focus on the Family and Exodus do respond, they will no doubt ignore the diversity of opinion in the articles that I linked to.

on Dec 7 Focus Citizen Daily Update report cites a 3 Dec press release: (https://www.family.org/welcome/press/a0034769.cfm) The daily update states that in re: Katie Couric’s fair question about whether conservative groups like Focus were responsible for helping create a climate of hostility against gays, that gays can change, so they ought to, or else… “Dr. Dobson was livid at the insinuation, not just for himself and Focus on the Family, but for Christians everywhere,”
They go on to say that since 20/20 debunked the idea that Shepherd’s death had anything to do with his being gay, Focus on the Family is the true victim of a hate crime here.
Uh-huh.
