Few of my friends or acquaintances consider “traditional” notions of masculinity and femininity — soccer dads and cookie moms — suitable for role modeling in the modern world. Perhaps that’s to be expected; a lot of my friends are masculine pro-feminist men.

While my friends at Men Can Stop Rape favor a redefinition of masculinity, blogger Hugo Schwyzer offers what may be a broad, balanced, and healthy alternative to machismo on the one hand, and gender-role revolution on the other.

Schwyzer is not sexually or romantically attracted to men, but his post is aptly titled, “I Love Men.”
