On Feb. 7, I wrote about Massachusetts ex-gay activist Larry Houston.

Mr. Houston wrote me on Feb. 14 to politely request a correction: I was under the impression he was celibate; Houston says he is in an intimate relationship with a woman. I have gladly provided the correction.

In a separate message, Mr. Houston also provided a long list of sources that he says document or challenge the belief among some homosexual activists that people are “born gay.” But as I’ve noted before, there is no agreement among scientists, activists, or anyone else for that matter, about the origins — genetic, prenatal, parental, hormonal, organic, environmental, or otherwise — of homosexuality.

You can read the original item and the correction here.
