The Florida-based Liberty Counsel, which was an ally of Exodus executive director Alan Chambers in the battle to promote antigay job discrimination in Orlando, is now taking on a smaller target.
The small town of Montverde has just 12 employees, but that hasn’t stopped Liberty Counsel from suing over the town’s decision not to discriminate against gay applicants for city jobs.
The high costs of waging a legal battle may force the town of less than 1,000 people to settle out of court.
