What an opportunist!
Zazu,
If you’re going to make an accusation, it would help for you to explain and substantiate it.
Without some substantiation, your comment is just an insult, and XGW is not an appropriate place for insults.
I think of an opportunist as someone who “rides on the coattails” of an issue, or of someone else’s contribution, without making an original mark of his own. But to my knowledge, what Toscano is doing is unique. Is there anyone else who has made performance art out of being an ex-exgay?
This is a serious question for me, since I am writing about the whole ex-gay phenomenon and would love to see more personal accounts by ex-exgays who can detail what the ex-gay programs they encountered were really like. If anyone can recommend any personal accounts to me, I would appreciate it.
Regan, thanks for the info. It looks like the URL http://www.highways.com now belongs to a transportation service, so any additional info you could provide would be most welcome.
Congratulations on your play, it sounds like a tremendous achievement.
