Darryl Foster attended “orgies” but never mentioned engaging in unsafe sexual practices.
Steve Gallagher’s testitmony focuses on sexual addiction and the only mention of homosexuality is his dabbling with gay pornography.
Statement most likely to offend someone who works in architecture / urbanism such as myself:
I envisioned myself living alone downtown–lonely and desperate
-Alan Medinger
Phil Hobizal’s first intimate contact was at age 7 with a peer and appears consensual. What’s unique about his testimony is that he actually uses the descriptor “experimentation” and so he is not included under “molested / abused.”
When I was seven, my brother’s friend spent the night. He introduced me to sexual experimentation, and we kissed and hugged for hours. Because of my own need for love and acceptance, it felt good to be close and share this kind of intimacy.
Dan, the color code isn’t distinctive enough. I had to use a color scanner towhere the cursor is located. It didn’t really help because the infograph is in 32bit color and varied too much within the color boxes.
FOF’s Fryrear says she’s never met a gay person that wasn’t sexually abused.
And yet, only 10 of the 26 testimonies on Exodus’ site say they were molested or abused. Evidently, either
a) Fryrear hasn’t met the Exodus folks
b) The only 16 gay people in the country that weren’t molested just happened to write testimonies for Exodus
c) The Exodus testimonial writers were so caught up in distant father/overbearing mother that they forgot to mention their molestation when trying to explain how their “same sex attractions developed”
d) Fryrear is lying through her teeth and saying whatever is expedient to push her agenda
I’m going to go way out on a limb here and guess that it’s d.
If picking winners at the dog races were this easy I’d be a millionairre.
haha I know the color is crazy! I used HSB color to lay it out where the H is in increments of 25 for each different person and the S and B values are always 100 for maximum color saturation and thus impact. I agree in some of the blues the jump from H,100,100 to H+25,100,100 just doesn’t read. I’ll post a text based addendum tonight after work saying exactly who fell into what categories so y’all don’t hafta struggle with an eyedropper tool.
Ha ha, it’s funny. I love the flying pig, I noticed the testomony from the ex-hiv positive before, it worries me.
I didn’t mind the similarity of the colours, the overall picture is clear. Good work.
Just curious who came over here from Queerty. If ya did say hi.
Came in from Qweerty. Interesting collection of data. How statistically improbable is it that neither my partner nor I have been molested, dabbled in drugs, or had unloving parents? And does this mean that all of the straight people I know who have been abused or sleep around need to become gay to solve their problems?
I haven’t wasted the time to download this. But pink pigs flying?
ROTFLMAO
(I don’t mind the colours, the list is more important)I think restricting the info. just to those on the Exodus site gives a low count. My own list (data from everywhere) gives much higher numbers for “religious visions” — take DL Foster for example… his television froze and Jesus spoke to him from out of the movie.Yup.
Very nice infographic!
I remember reading DL Foster’s account of
Jesus speaking – just to him! – from the
television set. Dang, DL, share what
you’re on, it sounds great.
And orgies – I never get invited to
orgies! Aren’t I gay enough? Hmmph.
My husband and I were both late kids, so we
were raised by experienced parents in intact
and highly functional marriages.
Btw, has anyone else noticed that psimo.blogspot
(Rev Foster’s personal snakepit) hasn’t been
updated in two weeks? What’s he been so
busy doing? Inquiring minds . . no, they
really don’t want to know, after all.
How exactly does DL know that it was Jesus on the TeeVee?
Could have been the orbiting space aliens beaming into his Sony Trinitron to see who they could get to dance for them.
They could be sitting back up in the space ship laughing their behinds off saying: “I can’t believe he bought it!”
I am loving these infographics!!!
(I was looking for the Stephen Bennett graphics, and found this.)
Don’t you make fun of Mario Bergner’s spiritual experience, though. This weekend, I was one kit kat martini away from talking to Elvis!
Unlike Bergner’s past life and the past lives of others listed here, however, that is such an unusual state for me that I’m still being teased about it. I’ll take my chances with “unhealth”, and the men here should *definitely* consider doing the same…
Is there some limit on the amount of potty mouthing that Christians can do here? The two above posts are really too much.
One day it would be nice to know that if someone wants to not be gay they can do that without harrassment. why the militant expose against change? I always though that the GLBT community was all about diverstiy? Maybe they should include GLBTexGLBT…now that’s inclusion.
Dang, I missed this graphic the first time around. Thanks to the trolls, it got comment-bumped so I can see it.
We really ought to break these info-graphics out into a separate site or folder and make them available to other “agenda” partners, they rawk!
