Still wonder why a major health “insurer” in the US of A would have an instructor from an obscure college on one of its “advisory committees.” One might want to look at who is on its other advisory committees. Maybe you’ll find people advocating things like use of leeches.
Well, actually Raj, president Bush has appointed avowed Christians to his FDA advisory board.
One of whom wrote a book and truly believes that prayer relieves female troubles.
He’s one of several of those who makes approval of already widely used contraceptives and inducement drugs damn near impossible to access.
Women and gay men’s health is becoming more and more compromised by such people.
It’s really all about controlling the sex lives of women and gay people by withholding the means for informed,healty and safe sex.
In their view, there is no such thing.
Which is patently and dangerously stupid.
