This video brings into focus who the “terrorists” are, i.e., extreme religious fundamentalists doing “Gods” work to punish and correct those who depart from “Gods word.”
fundamentalism is dangerous, no matter what religion you’re practicing.
Because fundamentalism basically says that following their rules is more important than any other message. More important than truth, more important than facts, more important than faith, more important than life, more important than forgiveness, more important than love.
I am a Gay Professional Fire Fighter/Medic who will be soon promoted to Lieutenant. The fire service lost 343 brave HEROS on 9-11, including, the first official fatality, FDNY Chaplain Michael (sp?) Judge, who was openly Gay. Ironically, my specialty in the fire department is Terrorism/Weapons of Mass Destruction. I am considered an expert in the field….all stemming from the national outcry after 9-11 (no where in this job description does it say that I AM a terrorist……But thanks to Rep. Kern, that will no doubt be corrected)
Disgust cannot remotely convey my impression of Rep. Kern…..I have become used to the Religious Right/Republicans/Conservatives rants, but this goes beyond reasonable……Talk about an abomination!
Some one wake me up and tell me this is all a bad dream. When will this idocracy stop?
It is people like me, like evryone on this blog and the mass of other Gays and Lesbians who WILL PREVAIL and prove people like Rep. Kern wrong…..as we do every second, minute, hour and day.
thanks for being a hero to America. And, to LGBT persons. Keep up the good work. And don’t worry about people like Kern. Your very existence negates her bigotry.
We can all unite in our war against terrorists: gays and the Evangelists alike. But, quite frankly, I’m more worried about being hurt by an USA-made lunatic fringe nutcase than some organized terrorist group from outside our borders.
You heard about the fellow who asked to shake hands with someone who is gay…when the gay guy refused to shake his hand…whap!…a trip to the emergency room.
I blame religious fanaticism.
I echo Emily K’s sentiments! Thanks for your input mike.
I totally respect the intentions of this video… but was it really necessary?
I’m all for expressing creativity and opinions, maybe i just saw this on a bad day 🙂 Still though… i love you guys!

Or rather, extreme religious fundamentalists undermining terrorism in the light of the love of two conscenting same sex adults?

That’s what’s scary.

Again, disgust…………
Wow, in that case, I’d hate to imagine gay terrorists

Just to be clear, we didn’t create it, but I wish we had. I think it is important to show the impact of Kern’s words.
