In early 2007, Truth Wins Out and former ex-gay Daniel Gonzales produced a YouTube video that found a blend of untruths and misleading “truthiness” in the annual antigay “Day of Truth” campaign.
Gonzales has updated the video to reflect changes at the ex-gay counseling program Love In Action — and the failure of Exodus to take corrective action against the campaign’s errors and unethical tactics.

This is so typical of the tactics of organizations that with an extreme anti-gay agenda who use cultlike brainwashing tactics (very cleverly disguised with words like love, truth, etc.) to lure naieve GLBT youth into these programs. They also use shame and fear tactics to get parents to send their kids into reparative therapy. Parents also need to realize these are tactics that cults use to coerce people into their brainwashing programs. They promise, love, freedom, etc. yet it’s interesting when you follow the money trail. I’m sure the promoters of LIA and FOF are paid well for their services.
Love In Action is not about love but is a destructive cult. Parents should be warned about these cults and young people need to read the peer reviewed research on these cults and their tactics. The science should dispell the b.s. that comes from these groups. Our public schools need to make these expose’s to the agendas of cults like Love In Action and Focus on the Family available to young people in the library, etc.
Ah, I remember this one. I always really enjoy Mr. Gonzales’ stuff he produces.
