7:01 p.m. My hour is up. What have Brady, Peterson, and Wayne written lately? Link to them instead.
I would have suggested searching for an ex-gay ministry that provides truthful, reliable and definitve statistics on success rates for their members over a ten year span, with supporting evidence, but I figure that’s not something someone can accomplish on a Thursday afternoon. Instead, Mike, go out and enjoy this beautiful day while you can!
That looks remarkably like my to-do list!
I suppose you could finish those tasks all within’ an hour if you could make yourself and your office travel at the speed of light, relative to Earth (sorry doing physics assignment). :p
Robis, the odds of finding such a website are slimmer than Mike being able to freeze time for himself. Although I agree that Mike should go outside and enjoy a spring afternoon in DC. ^_^
If you are of a religious bent, you could spend part of an hour praying that I get over my sickness (not an STD, sorry Stephen Bennett) by Saturday, so I can fly down to see my puddins next week and not waste my nonrefundable plane tickets.
If you are not of a religious bent, you could spend part of an hour giggling at us religious types and our crazy superstitions.
Ok guys–I need your help. Bill O’Reilly read my letter on the air tonight about how Christian groups at gay events will call names and do very rude things to the gay participants. Now, it has happened to me at Gay Night at Knott’s Berry Farm (wow–I was called every name under the sun), and of course most gay people are aware that at the parades and other events, anti-gay harassment occurs. O’Reilly wants documentation. Does anyone have any links or articles that show the harassment gays receive from Christian groups at events? Your help is appreciated.
Aaron,
This shouldn’t be too hard to find. Repent America would be a good group to search for.
Here’s one on them: https://www.365gay.com/newscon05/10/101005outFest.htm
(FYI- they were charged with hate crimes and then charges were dropped. The protest may have been legal, but it wasn’t a loving Christian protest).
Another one about a man spreading manure on a pride parade path, but it doesn’t specifically list his religion:

If you want more, you can email me, and I can help. Keep us updated!
Hey Mike: is that an abbreviated version of The Gay Agenda(c)1969 ???Perhaps we should start referring to The Gay To-Do List(c)2006 instead…
Seriously,Keep up the good up the good work Mike.
Boo said, “If you are not of a religious bent, you could spend part of an hour giggling at us religious types and our crazy superstitions. ”
I’m not of a religious bent, Boo, so instead of praying, I just hoped very very hard for you! 🙂
Aaron
I emailed CSW and asked if they had pics of the protesters at LA’s gay pride. Those people are downright nasty.
Aaron,Perhaps also suggest that Bill O’Reilly walk down from his ivory tower: invite him to attend one, as a participant. I get the impression O’Reilly fails to notice much unless it’s directed at himself, personally — failing his agreeing to participate, you’d need to secure some video where he can hear the invective rather than just some silent photos etc.(He’s probably likely to claim, in any case, that whatever you show him he’ll just pretend these aren’t “real Christian groups” anyway… yep, the old “no true Scotsman” defence.)It brings to mind, and this is from memory so forgive us our trespasses, some time in the early 90’s (?) when following a whole slew of complaints about gay bashing by car-riding gangs the Houston (?) police decided to go undercover. Posing as gay couples just walking on the street near well-known bars and clubs, the operation was rapidly stopped after several officers were attacked; one very seriously with a baseball bat. Please don’t ask for a link Mike 🙂 Oh, OK — I’ll go look, but don’t hold your breath.
Ouch….
This feels like my life.
Well, just do yuor best. You’re only human.
Mike said “Fight Exodus attempts to shut down Ex-Gay Watch and other gay-tolerant or gay-affirming sources of news.”.
Mike is there any truth to that or is this simply in the light-hearted spirit of the post? If this is the case it would be well worth having a discussion on Exgaywatch about the specifics.
Hi, Randi, I was referring to the billboard-parody battle last month. It did take some time to round up good lawyers to defend this site.
