The blogosphere noted this long ago; I’m posting this mostly for archival purposes.
The Princeton Review rated Grove City College, home of exgay movement pundit Warren Throckmorton, fifth-worst school in the nation for students who happen to be attracted to members of the same gender.
I noted a few days ago that GCC had a few things for us gay students, especially those of the wanna-be ex-gay ilk, as I was off and on when I attended:

I was able to:
Attend free counseling sessions (a service available equally to straights)
Request a suite rather than a room with a shared hallway bathroom during “room draw” so as to avoid temptation
Write an anonymous article about my struggle with the sin of homosexuality (this was actually due to my friend who was the editor of the paper–the school administration itself wasn’t really happy with the piece, titled “Coming Out with the Truth”)
I was surprised that Brigham Young University wasn’t higher on that list. School policy is to immediately expel students who are suspected of being gay. As I know personally, since I was expelled for that very reason 🙂
Joe, the survey is based on responses by the students who attend.Perhaps BYU students don’t rate themselves or BYU as anti-gay as they in fact are.For those considering schools offering an MBA there is another survey — I’d communicated with the author Jason Lorber way back in the dark ages when the survey was first conducted (mid 90’s). The methodology is based on formal policy etc, rather than student perceptions. This presents it’s own problems, but perhaps between the two survey methods some good guidance is to be found.
